The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
The Chair welcomed the committee quorum back to the fray after the brief Solstice Recess and invited updates.
The Archivist announced that work on the first stage of Project AR, an account of Mr Beauregard’s early life and activities, is still on schedule to commence production in August 2013. In the meantime a revised edition of The Last Rhinemaiden has been prepared with a new cover and will be uploaded to the usual e-vendors in a timely manner.
Ms Tugwell updated the Committee on the proceedings of the Women’s Etherboat Society. Boom Town, the second volume of memoirs concerning Miss Templeman and Miss Fellowes, has been distributed in Proof form to interested parties and progress is in hiatus pending their feedback. In the meantime, work has commenced on the third volume in the trilogy and is currently at c.20K words. Further progress will be announced in future meetings.
The Social Secretary announced that the Club’s Summer Ball, held at Mr Winchester’s Suffolk residence, was a resounding success, with many members enjoying the unseasonably benevolent weather to the full extent of propriety.
No further business was discussed. The Chair thanked the attendees and drew the meeting to a close.
